The William Bradford Read-A-Long Storybook on DVD helps children learn to read while they learn a lesson in the value of belief.

Children will read and hear William Bradford's inspiring story of making peace with and befriending the Native Americans, who taught the struggling Pilgrims how to survive, and becomes the Father of Thanksgiving Day. The story is brought to life through colourful pictures, and dramatic narration and character voices.

The Read-A-Long sections of this DVD present the story as images of still cartoon scenes with the story's text below - just like a paper storybook - and children will be able to read along in two ways:

• "Read to Me" option, which brings the story alive with narration, character voices and automatic "page" turning
• "Read by Myself" option, which allows children to read the story and turn the "pages" at their own pace

The Sing-A-Long feature is a fully animated and orchestrated original song, with on-screen lyrics to help children to sing along to the song.
