The Quest is derived from a true story.

The characters in The Quest delve into an exciting and challenging study on the Sabbath that leads them to discover new Bible truths.

The story opens as Rob buys Mia a bracelet with the Ten Commandments inscribed on it. On their way to an outing, they lose one link from the bracelet. Coincidentally, the lost link happens to be the fourth commandment, which says, "Remember the Sabbath Day." This experience leads a group of friends to research the Sabbath/Sunday issue as an answer to a College Challenge research project.

With the odds stacked against them and some opposition from the college administration, they begin and complete the project and present a powerful presentation of their findings to the student body.
