Each spring, nearly all of the Christian world—on a Sunday in late March or early April—joins in celebrating Easter, marking the day Jesus rose from the tomb three days after His death by crucifixion.

Apostle Paul reminds us that had Jesus not come forth from His tomb, we would have no hope. No hope for anything beyond the wretchedness of life on Planet Earth. But Jesus DID break free of His prison of death. So we too have the confidence of someday doing the same.

Jesus is risen! He lives! He loves each of us infinitely. Though for now His presence is unseen, we can know His unconditional love.

Can you even imagine the joy of the Resurrection Day? Rising to life with bodies showing not a mark of aging or sin. Family reunions everywhere! Infants and children who died far too early restored to their parents! This is the beginning of life eternal. No more death. No more tears. No more sorrow. No more illness. No selfishness in even a single heart.

All of this and more, because…

HE IS RISEN!
